KRAS55Bi Turbos Surpass 1150WHPIt's with great pleasure that we at Global Motoring Group share the latest results of our KRATOS KRAS55Bi Turbo System. As many of you may know, within a week of completing an engine build on one of our developmental S55's we were able to put down preliminary dyno results of 975whp and 752wtq 35psi on pump E85. Bootmod3 closed beta for the B58 engines has been a great success and we're excited to announce the wait is finally over! Our team has worked tirelessly on BMW B58 engine support adding support for all of bootmod3 features while programming the DME without removal from engine bay. Once B58 was released back in April focus shifted to B48 testing with a wider closed beta. The ZGW converts it from there.Bootmod3 closed beta for the B48 engines has been a great success and we're excited to announce the wait is finally over! Our development and testing teams have worked tirelessly on BMW B48 engine feature support over the past few months. The only interface that matters for connecting a tuning device to the car is the one on the OBDII port to the ZGW module. Tune development, boost per gear, flex fuel, the sky is the limit. PTF did heaps of N54 tunes then started developing BM3 and pretty much ignored N54 customers, both existing and new, from that point onwards. The majority of kinks for the N54 have been found out. I wouldn't agree it's fair to compare an established company mainly for an engine as their foundation against one that pushed maps for several, in terms of ability to service customers rapidly. Furthermore, PTF is basically running by two individuals on the front end servicing thousands of people at one time. You also can't assume support for MHD will outrank that of PTF/BM3 due to age. BMW is processing it out slowly because it's a dying standard.Īs for the support, sure MHD can pour their heart out, but there isn't much more to be done with the N20 at this point prior to building the engine. To clarify, not all ECUs are connected via CAN on the F series. The website went down as I tried editing/posting. I can't find a higher res version right now but here is an F30 communication diagram from a BMW technical training doc.
